OH MY GOD THIS IS GROUNDBREAKINGLY FUN |
Well i hate the game. It has put my life into suspended animation for a month or so. I now only have 1 true friend (you know the sort of friend who you can trust) my GBA. I get sucked into it for hours and hours at a time. I got 20 batteries with my GBA and they are all gone. All of them. It IS frustrating but fun very fun. And for the first time in about a month I actually logged on to the internet using MSN messenger and I remembered the friends i have so I do have friends. But recently they have merely been toys in my life. This game is so addictive i am now going to stop this review to go and play on it. Goodbye. Oh and BUY BUY BUY THIS GAME. GO ON.

You wont be able to put it down... |
|
...unless you are 10 years old like I assume the author of "Too frustrating for words" must be! When I bought the GBA, I had no idea which game to get so made my decision based on the screen shots on the back of the boxes! This unfortunately led me to Army Men Advance which is OK but you can complete it easily in one day so I guess its for kids. I should have got Kuru Kuru Kurunin (which I bought yesterday). It is both addictive and extremely skillfull - even when you complete a level in the challenge mode I found myself compelled to keep doing it until I had put up a good time! The adventure mode is (loosely) based on a story and the courses build up the difficulty as they go on. Yes it is hard but if you want easy - get Army Men Advance.

Bizarre ducks come up trumps |
|
At first, I thought "hmmm.... looks like some dodgy Japanese thing, Ill try it, but Im not expecting anything. But, like they did with Tetris, Nintendo have delivered a surprisingly addictive little puzzle/action game. Youll be tearing your hair out as you struggle not to hit the walls, and you fail over and over again. Yet you keep going. The satisfaction upon completing a particularly tricky section is reward enough for your hard work.... .....until you get to the next. This game is likely to have you swearing at the screen as you crash yet again, but, all in all, a superbly original and brilliantly fun title, a must buy. It also has bizarre ducks....
